Institution settings are the top-level L2 fields that describe this institution: institution_name (display name surfaced in the audit PDF + Investigation app + handbook substitution), institution_acronym (2-4 letter abbreviation), and description (free-form prose the handbook renders as the intro paragraph).

BXa.1 (2026-05-30) promoted institution_name + institution_acronym out of the deleted persona block. Leave any field blank to clear it (silent-fallback: institution_name regex-extracts from the description when absent; audit PDF falls back to cfg.aws.deployment_name).

Display name surfaced in the audit PDF header + Investigation app landing prose + handbook substitution. Optional; falls back to `cfg.aws.deployment_name` when blank.
Short label (2-4 letters) used in dashboard titles + handbook substitution. Optional; "SNB" toggles the bundled-fixture Sasquatch concrete examples in the docs.
Free-form prose (markdown OK). Handbook templates render this as the "what is this institution" intro paragraph; the institution_name regex extracts from here when not set above.
