ⓘ Reference

A LimitSchedule is a daily $-cap on flow from a parent role for a given rail and direction. Any day exceeding the cap surfaces as an L1 limit-breach violation.

Required: parent_role (the role whose flow is capped), rail (the Rail name the cap applies to), cap (the $ ceiling), and direction (Outbound for classic send caps, Inbound for AML / structuring thresholds on inbound volume — AB.1).

The same (parent_role, rail) pair may carry both an Outbound and an Inbound LimitSchedule — they show up on different branches of the L1 Limit Breach matview.

Identity
The role whose outbound flow is capped.
Free-form prose.
Scope
The rail the cap applies to.
Which flow side the cap watches. Outbound = money leaving the parent's children (classic send cap). Inbound = money arriving (AML / structuring threshold).
Limit
Daily $ cap. L1 Limit Breach flags any day exceeding this.
